The B.E.S.T. acronym stands for Brilliantly Executed Spaces & Thinking. These awards celebrate those interior design projects that go beyond the pretty picture and truly encompass great design. We also recognize that successful interior design requires a collaboration of many disciplines such as, consultant teams, project managers, vendors, contractors, etc. This awards show is a celebration of that collaboration, and of great design in the Intermountain region.

NCIDQ Kick-Off Dinner
Twice a year the IIDA Intermountain Chapter will host an NCIDQ kick off dinner to connect test takers with professionals who have recently passed the exam. We will be discussing different study tips, schedules, and creating study groups as needed. We also have the most current study materials to lend to the study group.

This program will explore the evolution of drywall ceilings, acoustical ceilings and innovation in monolithic acoustical drywall ceiling systems. It includes an introduction to the history of gypsum plaster, the invention of the gypsum wallboard panel and modern gypsum panel technology. The standards used to gauge performance of ceilings will be discussed. A review of where and when and how to specify monolithic acoustical drywall ceilings.
