Job Description

Specifics Include

  • Graphically strong: you will prepare bid responses in Adobe InDesign, AutoCAD, SketchUp.

  • Strategically minded: Collaboration with our sales team to tailor proposal responses for concise communication.

  • Function-first: Space planning for office projects in various workplace settings.

  • Detail-minded: you will be responsible for paramount details such as on-site field measurements and plan-to-site adherence checks.

  • Efficient: you will be managing your deadlines and providing accurate and timely drawings, isometrics, renderings and specifications for systems and freestanding furniture as well as modular wall specifications.

  • Concise Communicator: you will conduct meetings with client, contractor and subcontractor trades, vendors, etc. as needed.

  • Follow-Through: you will follow through projects all the way from concept to order placement for multiple manufacturers.

**We are adaptable and flexible to each of our clients needs and as such, we wear many hats at Salt Studio. Additional duties and responsibilities may be asked of the individual on an as needed or temporary basis.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Interior Design (AS, BS or BA accepted).

  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.

  • ProjectMatrix, CET, and Indigo RT experience desired however is not necessary

  • Knowledge of the interior design process, and how our role as furniture experts fit into larger commercial projects in collaboration with other professions.

  • Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, goal setting, meet deadlines in an environment of fluctuating priorities.

  • Self-starter with solid organizational and planning skills.

  • Extremely High attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Willingness to work in a team and collaborative environment.

Project Manager, Interior Designer

Project Managers are responsible for the successful management of multiple interior design projects whilst leading and mentoring assigned staff. You will be responsible for leading consultants and internal resources, managing the development of contract documents, adhering to budgets, contract facilitation and construction site representation whilst maintaining client contact throughout the life of a project. 

Interior Design Project Manager preferred qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience working on corporate interior design projects

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design.

  • Experience working directly with clients from business development, presentation, negotiation and project completion.

  • Excellent communication skills. The Project Manager is able to listen to clients’ needs and communicate needs and provide direction to consultants and staff both verbally and in writing while maintaining positive client relationships throughout project by keeping the client apprised of project progress on a regular basis.  Initiate and maintain contact with other key project individuals for clarification, coordination and negotiation of critical issues

  • Experience managing the project schedule and deliverables by overseeing coordination and quality assurance of documents required to complete a project.

  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines.

  • Relevant experience in the Greater Denver Area with ADA, building codes and permits.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects through all phases of design and construction.

  • Ability to work in a team environment while taking responsibility for the outcome of the project.

  • Proficiency of AutoCAD required. 

  • Proficiency in Deltek Vision, MS Project, Newforma and Revit preferred.

  • Licensure (NCIDQ or registered architect) preferred

  • Experience preparing fee proposals and negotiate fess and assist with contract negotiation.
