Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities: Our firm is interested in hiring an experienced interior designer who will provide interior design expertise in all project phases and assist in the documentation of interior spaces. The interior designer will collaborate with architects, clients, contractors, vendors, product reps, etc. The successful candidate will develop interior design concepts and have the ability to present these concepts graphically using analogue and digital media (see software section below). This person will recommend material finishes, products, manufacturers, and colors that meet the requirements of the interior’s environment and present this information on material boards. Additional responsibilities include implementing the interior design decisions within the architectural finishes sheets using Autodesk Revit. I.e. Finish Schedules, Finish Floor Plans, Interior Elevations, Millwork Details, Reflected Ceiling plans, etc. The interior designer will also be responsible to maintain the office materials library.

Education / Experience: Minimum 2 year AAS degree or certificate. Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design with NCIDQ accreditation is preferred. 2+ years relevant interior design experience.

Software: Revit (1+ year minimum experience required). Experience in Photoshop and Sketch Up preferred. Experience InDesign, and Illustrator beneficial.
