  • CCG 358 South Rio Grande Street Salt Lake City, UT, 84101 United States (map)

Participants will explore the acoustic problems that occur as design trends move away from carpet to smooth surfaces for aesthetic and performance reasons. This CEU will also identify what designers and architects need to know when specifying flooring that provides and acoustic solution. This includes examining specific problems in creating good acoustics for different applications, including healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality and fitness. The course wraps up by comparing products and technology available to create acoustic solutions that meet demand for style and design versatility, as well as other important performance criteria, such as safety, ergonomics, hygiene, and sustainability.
